One of the most notable changes is the rescheduling of Rangers’ match against St Johnstone, which was originally set to take place on October 6. Due to the Great Scottish Run, which takes place on the same day, the match has been moved to an 8 p.m. kick-off time to avoid any potential clashes with road closures and the event itself.
Celtic, on the other hand, will see their match against St Johnstone moved to a 5:45 p.m. kick-off time on September 28, which will be broadcast live on Premier Sports. The Hoops will also have their match against Ross County broadcast live on Sky Sports on October 6, with a 12 p.m. kick-off time.
The first Edinburgh derby of the season, between Rangers and Heart of Midlothian, has also been rescheduled to take place on October 27, although the kick-off time has yet to be determined.
