Leeds READY To Pay 8-figure-fee For Player described as a “wizard”….Farke Has Been Pursuing This Same Player For a Long Time

Redirecting...

Leeds United is keen to sign Gustavo Hamer from Sheffield United before the transfer window closes. According to journalist Alan Nixon, the Whites are willing to pay £13 million for the player, but the Blades want a higher fee.

This is not the first time Leeds has shown interest in Hamer. They attempted to sign him last summer before he moved to Bramall Lane from Coventry City. The Dutchman has impressed in England, scoring 27 goals and providing 32 assists across four seasons with Coventry and Sheffield United.

Hamer’s arrival would be a significant boost to Leeds’ midfield, which has been weakened by the departures of Georginio Rutter and Glen Kamara. The 27-year-old would bring a much-needed goal threat from midfield, an area where Leeds struggled last season.

Manager Daniel Farke is eager to make three more signings before the transfer window closes. The arrival of Largie Ramazani has already been completed, and a medical has been conducted for Tottenham’s Manor Solomon, although the deal is yet to be confirmed.

While Solomon and Hamer play in the same attacking midfield role, the Dutchman’s arrival would be a more ambitious attempt to replace Kamara, who joined Rennes earlier this summer. Hamer’s creativity and goal-scoring ability would make him an upgrade on Kamara.

Leeds has generated over £100 million from the sales of Kamara, Rutter, Archie Gray, and Crysencio Summerville this summer. Fans are unhappy with the way these players left the club, but signing Hamer would go a long way in appeasing them.

In other news, a senior Leeds player who wanted to stay at Elland Road is set for an imminent return, with a deal expected to be signed within the next couple of days.
