THOUGH IT TARRIES, WAIT FOR IT.

Redirecting...

 – There is so much power and fulfillment in Perseverance.

I will describe the journey of life as a twists and turns, victories and failures. It has different plates it serves different people, to some, a bit of less roughness and more free ride, but to the ones with the bigger bag of greatness, life will serve you more pains, defeats, disappointments, delays and everything capable of making you throw in the towel. So what are you facing right now? How do you feel on the journey of life? How far does the dream appear? But you ought to know that at the point of giving up your dream, you ought to remind yourself that it is not over until you win. Though it tarries, wait for it.

There is so much power in perseverance. Will you groan along the journey? Yes! Will you cry? Absolutely yes! Will you feel discourage and rejected? Yes and yes, and will you WIN? Yessssssssssssssssssssssss!

Our inspiration comes from the HOLY BIBLE, what instigated the statement in the book of Habakkuk 2:3.” For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie, because it will surely come, it will not tarry” what was the situation behind the statement? Habakkuk was questioning God about the injustice and suffering he sees around him. And God encouraged him to have faith and wait patiently for His plan to unfold, even if it seems delayed.

As long as you have made a firm fist on your vision and dreams and you have made it plain on a book, there is no way of giving up right now. I’ll invite you to join me on this journey of no return, a ride till death do us part.

This message resonates to all people in all belief. Waiting for a dream to come to pass sometimes can be incredibly difficult, it may seem forever or unachievable, but the question has been, if you give up on that dream, is there an iota of satisfaction in giving up? Absolutely NO! However, by developing patience and perseverance, we can weather the storm and come out stronger on the other side.

The amazing thing is, yours that seems delayed, is the one that offers the genuine inner self fulfillment, your Perseverance on hand is the determination that will keep you going despite obstacles or setbacks. It’s the fuel that drives your willingness to put in the effort and work hard, even when progress is slow or seem non-existent. One may ask, when the going get tougher, what do you do to keep you going?

As I’m sharing this, it’s to let my readers know that we are in it together, so I’ll be sharing some of the practical things I do when discouragement creeps in deep. These are not just theoretical motivations:

  1. RETREAT:  The very first thing to do is to retreat for selfcare. This is very important because you may not find external support most times, even from the closest of friend or spouse. The greatest support is the one you can offer yourself. You step back, drop all the emotional baggage, release your brain and pick up your little self and appreciate it, it has been the one fighting, brainstorming and doing all the work, hell no! it is not easy, tap the boy or girl, whatever your gender is and say to yourself, boy! You’ve got to be extraordinary to have reached this far. Give yourself a pat on the back and dish out some love on you, smile at you and let yourself experience personal love, it is important.
  2. TAKE IT EASY ON YOUR SELF: most times, it is easier to forgive others than we forgive our selves, you must understand that there is no superhuman being anywhere in the world, so why are you so hard on yourself so much that you allow you to get so tensed and become apparently older than how you ought to be. This does not translate to laziness or weakness, you have to go hard and at the same time be soft and kind to yourself. There is no room to accept mediocrity of any kind.
  3. BEFORE YOU RESTART: before you restart, it is important to remind you or the task ahead, that you will be patient, you will persevere, you will keep fighting until you win, this will be a bailout for subsequent discouragements.
  4. MAKE IT SIMPLE: When facing a daunting task or challenge, it can be helpful to break it down into smaller, more manageable steps. This applies to students, career personnel. To stay focused and motivated you have to simplify the task to see progress more clearly.
  5. FAILURE COMES BEFORE SUCCESS: Failure is a natural part of the learning process, and it’s important to embrace it as an opportunity to grow and improve. Instead of dwelling on mistakes or setbacks, use them as motivation to try again and do better next time.
  6. PRACTICE EXERCISE: Taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally can help you build resilience and stay focused on your goals. Make time for exercise, rest, and activities that bring you joy and relaxation.
  7. SEEK SUPPORT: There is no tree that can make a forest; you need people to succeed because people matter. Having a strong support system of friends, family, or mentors can help you stay motivated and focused on your goals. Don’t be afraid to reach out for help when you need it, but then, you need to rely on your personal support system and God more.

In summary, “though it tarries, wait for it” it is only the strong that get celebrated; those who die don’t understand the fulfillment that comes from resilient. Those who quit along the way never find satisfaction or happiness.

it is better dying trying than die at nothing. There is no pride when you tell the world that you gave up. You deserve the crown, so though it tarries, wait for it.
